Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between D.O.H International ("Company") and members using "mangodio" (the "Service"), a platform connecting brands and reviewers for private product-trial and feedback campaigns.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Member" means a person who signs in with a Google account and completes registration after agreeing to these Terms.
- "Reviewer activity" means, once selected for a campaign, receiving a product free of charge from a business, trying it, and providing feedback.
- "Business activity" means registering a business profile and creating campaigns to recruit reviewers. The Company does not distinguish separate account types for reviewers and businesses; a single account may perform both roles.
- "Campaign" means a product-trial and feedback-collection project listed by a business to recruit reviewers.
- "Application" and "Selection" refer to a member expressing interest in a campaign and a business confirming a reviewer, respectively.
- "Connection fee" means the amount a business prepays, proportional to the number of reviewers to be recruited, in order to run a campaign.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment)
The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by law and will notify members at least 7 days (30 days for changes unfavorable to members) before the effective date via an in-service notice.
Article 4 (Registration and Account)
- Registration is only available via Google sign-in; the Service does not issue separate usernames or passwords.
- Completing registration requires providing a nickname, name, country, date of birth, and gender, and agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
- Phone number verification is additionally required to use certain features, including applying to campaigns.
- The Company may refuse or revoke registration for identity theft, false information, users under 14, or other cases materially impeding registration.
Article 5 (Business Profile Registration and Verification)
Members who wish to create campaigns must register a business profile, including business name, legal entity type, business registration number (or the equivalent for their country), representative name, and business address. The Company may approve or reject submitted information, and campaign creation may be restricted pending verification.
Article 6 (Campaign Application, Selection, and Cancellation)
A reviewer may hold at most one active application per campaign. A cancelled application cannot be resubmitted to the same campaign within 24 hours; a rejected application may be resubmitted.
Article 7 (Product Trial and Feedback Obligation)
- A reviewer selected for a campaign receives the business's product free of charge and uses (trials) it.
- In exchange, the reviewer must, in good faith, write and submit the feedback requested by the business — reviews or survey responses — as instructed for the campaign.
- The Company does not pay reviewers any monetary compensation or settlement beyond the product itself.
- If a reviewer fails without good cause to fulfill the feedback obligation, the Company may restrict that reviewer's participation in future campaigns.
Article 8 (Campaign Connection Fee)
- A business must pay the connection fee, proportional to the number of reviewers it intends to recruit, before a campaign can be published; the campaign is published only once payment is complete (e.g., approximately KRW 5,000 per connection).
- Payment is a one-time, prepaid charge processed exclusively via Toss Payments; the Company does not collect or store card numbers or other payment credentials, which are handled by Toss Payments.
- If a business cancels a campaign after it has been published, the Company refunds the paid amount minus the amount corresponding to reviewers already selected as of the cancellation (e.g., if a business pays for 10 recruits and cancels after 3 have been selected, the Company refunds the amount minus the cost of those 3).
- Refund requests are submitted via customer support (hello@mangodio.com), and the Company processes them within [TODO: refund processing timeframe, e.g., N business days].
Article 9 (Withdrawal of Offer and Refunds)
Businesses may withdraw their offer to purchase in accordance with applicable Korean e-commerce consumer protection law; specific refund criteria follow Article 8, Section 3. Withdrawal may be restricted once statutory restrictions apply (e.g., once a campaign has been published).
Article 10 (Service Provision and Suspension)
- The Service is provided year-round, 24 hours a day, in principle. It may be temporarily suspended for system maintenance, server upgrades, or other operational needs.
- The Company will provide advance notice via an in-service announcement before temporarily or permanently suspending the Service, except where urgent maintenance makes advance notice impracticable, in which case notice may be given afterward.
- The Company may change all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, and will provide notice of such changes under Article 3.
Article 11 (Company Obligations)
- The Company will not engage in conduct prohibited by applicable law or these Terms, and will work to provide a stable, continuous Service.
- The Company protects members' personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- The Company will address legitimate member complaints or feedback without undue delay.
Article 12 (Product Delivery)
- Following selection, the business is solely responsible for shipping the product to the reviewer; the Company does not arrange or broker delivery.
- Reviewers must accurately provide the recipient information needed for delivery (name, contact information, address, etc.), and the Company is not liable for delays or loss resulting from inaccurate information.
- Loss, damage, or misdelivery during shipping is to be resolved primarily between the business and the reviewer; the Company may assist in facilitating a resolution.
Article 13 (Intellectual Property)
- Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Service (including its logo, trademarks, the service name "mangodio", UI/UX, and software) belong to the Company.
- Members may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit the Service without the Company's prior written consent.
Article 14 (Contracts with Minors)
- A member between 14 and 18 years of age who uses the paid (connection fee) service as a business must obtain consent from a legal guardian under the Civil Act; a contract entered into without such consent may be cancelled by the member or the guardian.
- The Company may request confirmation of guardian consent where necessary.
Article 15 (Notices)
- The Company may notify members via their registered email or in-service notifications (announcements, in-app notifications, etc.).
- Notice to an unspecified number of members may be given by posting an in-service announcement in lieu of individual notice.
Article 16 (Member Obligations)
Members must not impersonate others or misuse others' information, participate in campaigns through false feedback or other improper means, infringe third-party intellectual property, or interfere with Service operations or harm other members.
Article 17 (Restriction, Suspension, and Withdrawal)
- The Company may suspend a member's access without prior notice for violations of Article 16 or applicable law.
- A suspended member cannot use the Service until the cause for suspension is resolved and may inquire about the reason via customer support.
- Members may withdraw at any time; upon withdrawal, personal data is destroyed except as required to be retained under applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
Article 18 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company is not liable for its inability to provide the Service due to force majeure.
- The Company does not directly intervene in disputes between reviewers and businesses and is not liable for resulting damages.
Article 19 (Dispute Resolution)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and jurisdiction lies with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
